In a fire situation hot smoke rises rapidly, rendering overhead lighting and escape signage totally ineffective. Guide-LITE Low Location Lighting provides a highly visible line of light at, or close to floor level, clearly identifying the escape path and illuminating the escape route even in extreme emergency conditions.

Existalite, the UK's leading emergency lighting specialist developed the Guide-LITE Low Location Lighting system in 1992, well in advance of the IMO Resolution A752(18) requiring such systems to be installed on- board- all vessels carrying more than thirty-six passengers into international waters. Due to the quality of the product and the specialist services offered by Existaiite, Guide-LlTE quickly became and continues to be, the worlds leading Low Location Lighting system.

The Guide-LITE LED range now offers a highly effective LEd system, proven to be the most effective form of Low Location Lighting. Guide-LITE is type approved by ail the leading classification societies and offers full compliance to the IMO & ISO standards.

Guide-LITE offers proven reliability, ease of installation, low maintenance requirements and competitive pricing. Existalite have supplied equipment for new build and retro-fit projects world-wide, gaining more experience in the design, approval and installation of Low Location Lighting systems than any other manufacturer.

Many clients recognising the safety benefits in the Cruise and Ferry Industry have and continue to choose Guide-LITE for use in Merchant Ships, Luxury Yachts, accommodation units of FPSO vessels and Offshore platforms.
