Using LED's as the source of illumination, our range of LED based Emergency lights have a MTBF life expectancy in excess of 50,000 hrs. (Up to 10 times more than the life of an 8W fluorescent tube).

The Freeplay ELC provides the ultimate independent lighting solution for emergency and everyday situations. The light centre is a wall mounted cabinet housing a bank of Freeplay Wind-up and rechargeable LED flashlights. MARINE
The Guide-LITE Low Location Lighting system in 1992, well in advance
of the IMO Resolution A752(18) & ISO 15370 requiring such systems to be
installed on- board- all vessels carrying more than thirty-six
passengers into international waters. Due to the quality of the product
and the specialist services offered by Existaiite, Guide-LlTE quickly
became and continues to be, the worlds leading Low Location Lighting
system.
LAND BASED
The Guide-LITE system is simple to install and
can be used anywhere people may need to escape from a building in an
emergency situation. In a fire situation it takes less than thirty
seconds for conventional ceiling lighting and escape route signage to be
rendered totally ineffective. Low mounted emergency lighting systems
continue to provide a highly visible line of light at, or close to floor
level, long after other lighting systems have been completely obscured
by smoke.

PUBLIC AREA
Even though the safety of the passengers comes to the fore, it's still significant for the shipbuilders, to adjust the design of the signs to the design of the ship. This includes the optical adjustment of the signs to the ambience of the ship, as well as the optimizing of all dimensions in relation of the sign size to the installation place, without blocking electrical leads, which are already installed on board.

To cater for the larger installations a range of DC power supply units providing 12v Dc or 24v DC up to 480wats.
Versions are available with integral battery back, enabling systems to be used for Emergency Lighting and safety lighting installations.
